Program Description

The department of Plastic and Maxillofacial surgery offers a 12 months-fellowship in burn care. The burn center is one of Sweden’s two national burn centers appointed, by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare, for the care of severe burns. Annually approximately 150 patients are admitted to the center and approximately 1400 patients are seen at outpatient visits. All ages and all aspects of burn care is handled in the center. The fellowship program is an academic clinical program.
