Lab Tests and Samples

Here you will find information about our sample collection units, opening hours and what you need to prepare before your visit. Please bring a valid ID and your referral or accompanying letter. We collect blood samples, urine samples and cytology samples. These tests are important to ensure you receive the correct diagnosis and treatment.

There are patient hotels near Uppsala University Hospital. The hotels have been contracted by Region Uppsala. Your healthcare provider is responsible for and approves your accommodation.

There are information desks at our main entrances where you can get support and assistance. If you have a visual impairment, you can book a guide. Red Cross volunteers are also available at the main entrances. They can help you find your way, show you how to register your visit or keep you company for a while.

Video consultations
