Pregnant after 22+0 weeks of pregnancy

Call the maternity ward on 018-611 57 00 if you:

  • Think labour has started. For example, you have regular contractions that are perceived as painful, about two to five in ten minutes.
  • Think your water has broken. Read more if you think your water has broken (1177.se)
  • Experiencing reduced foetal movements. If you feel that the child is moving less, we will agree on a possible visit. Read more about reduced foetal movements (1177.se) .
  • Have bleeding from the genital area. Bleeding during pregnancy is not necessarily dangerous. We will assess whether you should come in for a check-up or wait at home.
  • Feel a sharp persistent pain in the stomach. If you have a lot of stomach pain (severe pain that does not go away), we will assess whether you should go for a check-up.

For urgent problems before 21+6 weeks of pregnancy

Call 1177 if you experience urgent problems before 21+6 weeks of pregnancy.

Do you have non-urgent questions?

In the first instance, contact your midwife during the day.

Car parking

There are only a few parking spaces at the maternity ward entrance 240. Six of these places are reserved for the maternity ward. You pay the regular parking charge by card or app.

If you need to park here for a longer period, you can get a certificate to put in the windscreen of your car while you buy a parking card in the cafeteria upstairs, which makes parking cheaper.

There is also a car park at the children's hospital (entrance 95/96) which is adjacent to the maternity ward.
