Antesthesia and Intensive Care

The department covers anesthesia and intensive care, but also includes pain management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Staff also participate in ambulance and helicopter operations. Recordkeeping is a significant part of their daily work. The work of this department is characterized by high levels of quality and competence, and the goal of the department is to retain international ranking in terms of clinical medicine, research and education. There are about 340 employees. The unit works closely with virtually all other activities in the University Hospital.
