Our Purpose

We investigate, diagnose and treat children with Cancer and Blood diseases. The department has twelve single rooms where also relatives can stay.

Our ambition is to be a support for the whole family. Cancer treatment with surgery, radiation and cytostatics is not easy for children. Professional care with the child in the center is crucial for the whole family and is also important for the childrens healing capacity.
