Uppsala University Children’s Hospital

We are a small hospital within a larger hospital, and it is in that close-knit environment that our greatest strength lies. We provide specialised and nationally commissioned highly specialised care (NHV) for children and adolescents throughout the county. Here, you will find emergency care, surgery, intensive care, neonatal care, and a wide range of specialist outpatient clinics. We work in multidisciplinary teams and also offer support services such as therapeutic play, rehabilitation, and counselling support to help make healthcare feel safe, understandable, and reassuring for both children and their families.
