About the Hospital Chaplaincy

Our Hospital Chaplaincy is here to offer spiritual support, comfort and a listening presence for patients, relatives and staff. You are welcome to contact us regardless of faith, tradition or personal beliefs.

The office of the Hospital Chaplaincy is located by Entrance 70. Both patients and relatives are welcome to get in touch. Service times are displayed on notice boards in each ward.

There are also meditation rooms available:

• Entrance 85, ground floor.
• Entrance 10, entrance level.

These rooms are open for quiet reflection, prayer or simply a peaceful moment.

What We Offer

The Hospital Chaplaincy provides:

• Emotional and spiritual support.
• Individual visits to patients and families.
• Pastoral care.
• Regular Christian services in the meditation room at Entrance 85.
• Communion service every Thursday at 11:15, Entrance 85.
• Individual prayers or Holy Communion upon request.
• Christenings in crisis situations.
• Contact with local churches and representatives of other faiths.
• Participation in staff training and support groups.

The Hospital Chaplaincy consists of clergy, pastors, deacons and coordinators representing Christian churches as well as Islamic and Buddhist traditions.
