Our Purpose

The operational goal is to work with evidence-based nutritional treatment measures and preventive dietary advice to promote health and quality of life.

The nutritionists work throughout the hospital and meet patients in the hospital wards and clinics. The nutritionists also disseminate their knowledge of diet and nutrition through participating in the training of staff at the hospital and of students at various nursing schools. Research and development in the field of nutrition is also carried out. The geriatric department and the children's hospital have their own nutritionists.
