About the clinic

After you have been diagnosed with diabetes, you will receive care at our diabetes clinic. During the first year, you and your family will receive education about diabetes and diabetes management to help you feel confident in managing the treatment in the best possible way.

After the first year, we will continue to meet regularly throughout your childhood and adolescence. We provide guidance on insulin therapy, nutrition and physical activity, and offer support to help make everyday life work smoothly, whether at preschool, school or during leisure activities.
