Paediatric Allergy Clinic – part of our specialised paediatrics services

Our team consists of doctors, Specialist Nurses and dietitians with extensive expertise in severe allergies and asthma. When needed, we also work with physiotherapists, Medical Social Workers and child psychologists. We collaborate closely with other units at Uppsala University Children's Hospital.

About our ward

We care for children and adolescents aged 0-17 who have asthma, eczema or allergies that require specialised care.

What we do

At the clinic, we assess and treat:

• Asthma – both allergic and non-allergic.
• Allergies – for example to foods, animals with fur, pollen or medicines.
• Eczema – when it is linked to allergies or is difficult to treat. We offer allergy assessments, testing, treatment and follow-up care.

How to access our care services

To attend the clinic, you need a referral from your primary care centre or a paediatric specialist clinic.

During clinic hours, we are often unable to answer the telephone.

If you need to cancel an appointment at short notice or urgently need to contact us because your child's condition has worsened, please leave a message and we will call you back as soon as possible.
