Our services
The staff here have unique expertise in the fields of endocrinology, internal medicine and oncology. In addition to their clinical work, all doctors conduct cutting-edge research in the fields of diagnosis and treatment of neuroendocrine tumours.
We can offer unique diagnostic and treatment options. In the clinical care of our patients, we collaborate with several other wards such as endocrine surgery, clinical chemistry, pathology, radiology, oncology, nuclear medicine and the pet centre.
Research and development
Thanks to our cutting-edge research and large patient population, we have early access to new diagnostics and treatment options. We can offer our patients specially designed assessment that includes characterisation of tumour biology, which in turn allows us to individually tailor treatment.
Our clinical trials of new treatments (alpha-interferon, somatostatin analogues, radiolabelled somatostatin analogues, etc) have shown that both survival and quality of life of our patients have improved.
