Our purp­ose and operati­ons

A competent ambulance service, in which medical procedures are implemented
before the patient reaches the hospital, is becoming increasingly important in
modern emergency care.

In Uppsala county, the ambulance service is
integrated with the University Hospital emergency medical care service.

The county has six ambulance stations: in Bålsta, Enköping, Huddunge,
Tierp, Uppsala and Östhammar.
