Uppsala Clinical Research Center

The goal of the Uppsala clinical research center (UCR) is to improve health care by supporting clinical research and quality development. The center is an independent unit in the medical science area at Uppsala University and University Hospital. The UCR works on projects led by and in collaboration with clinical researchers at Uppsala University and other universities and hospitals in Sweden and abroad. There are about fifty employees who work in clinical research, clinical trials, quality assessment, statistics, data management, information technology and biomedical analysis. The UCR has developed unique interactive internet-based techniques for continuous recording and reporting of data, and offers specialist expertise and solutions for all types of database and registry problems.
