Orthopedics

To reach the highest international levels of medical treatment and provide good care while remaining cost-effective, the department of orthopedics at University Hospital has been subdivided into trauma surgery; prosthetic surgery; back surgery; shoulder, knee and foot surgery; and children's orthopedics. The department comprises three wards, reception and the amputee training and research unit, Gåskolan.
