Regional Logopedics

There are currently 27 speech therapists working in Uppsala County with different groups of patients who have some form of speech pathology. This department investigates, assesses and treats children and adults who have language, speech, voice or communication disorders and individuals who have difficulty eating, drinking or swallowing. Each patient is given an action plan based on their needs and circumstances. Relatives and other involved parties, such as pre-school staff or health professionals, are included in the planning.
