Gynecology

The obstetrics and gynecology department is responsible for women's health services in Uppsala county and can offer women from Uppland and from the surrounding regions highly specialized care. The department covers a wide range of women's health services, has many existential aspects and works for the patient from a holistic point of view, in cooperation with various staff categories.

The clinic has a variety of teaching activities, including training courses for doctors and midwives at various levels. Research is a significant feature of the activities and the department collaborates with many other units within and outside the hospital.
