Occupational and Environmental Medicine

The department of occupational and environmental medicine is a regional unit for Dalarna, Gävleborg and Uppsala counties located in the University Hospital. The main purpose of the department is to act as a knowledge center and provide practical expertise for others in the catchment area who are working to prevent disease and poor health related to employment and the indoor and outdoor environment. The activities of the department are basically medically oriented.
