Uppsala Clinical Research Centre - UCR

UCR (Uppsala Clinical Research Centre) aims to improve healthcare by supporting clinical research and quality improvement.

Uppsala UniversityUCR opened in July 2001. The centre is an independent unit linked with both the medical branch of the science division at Uppsala University and at the University Hospital. UCR works with projects under the management of, and in cooperation with, clinical researchers at Uppsala University, as well as at other universities and hospitals in Sweden and abroad.

UCR currently employs some 50 people, who work in the areas of clinical research, clinical testing, quality control registers, statistics, data management, information technology and biomedical analysis. UCR offers everything from advice and support within specifically defined areas, to comprehensive solutions for multicentre clinical trial projects. UCR has developed unique interactive internet-based techniques in the field of registers, for continuous registration and reporting, and offers specialist expertise and comprehensive solutions for all types of database and register.

UCR is for people who work with clinical research, clinical testing and quality improvement.
